Today, I am going to show you how to configure Cisco DUO two-factor authentication for WordPress.

If you don’t have any existing DUO account, you can follow below link to sign up the trial Duo account for free.

1.Log in to the Duo Admin Panel and navigate to Applications.

2.On the Application page, Click Protect an Application.

3.On the Protect an Application, locate the entry for WordPress in the applications list, click Protect.

4.Take a note for the integration key, secret key, and API hostname. You’ll need this information to complete your setup.

5.Login to your WordPress site, click Plugins.

6.On the Plugins page, click Add New.

7.On the Add Plugins page, search DUO Plugins, click Install Now at Duo Two-Factor Authentication Plugin.

8.Click Activate Now at Duo Two-Factor Authentication Plugin.

9.Click Settings at Duo Two-Factor Authentication Plugin.

10.Type the integration key, secret key, and API hostname information, click Save Changes.

11.On the WordPress Login Page, click Send Me a Push.

12.Click Approve check mark at your phone DUO app.

13.You will success login to WordPress.
